Rifle Dental Clinic
Mountain Family Health Centers offers Dental Services in our Rifle, Colorado location.
MFHC offers the following services:
- Dental cleanings
- Crowns (on a limited basis)
- Root canals
- Partial and complete dentures
We will provide limited pediatric dentistry procedures based on child’s cooperation level. We will also offer some limited treatment of gum problems.
Dr. Garry Millard is the Dental Director for MFHC. He is a board certified specialist in periodontics. He is an expert in treating gum problems, and in placing dental implants, having placed over 1,000 implants successfully in private practice in Northern California. Dr. Millard has six years of experience in general dentistry prior to becoming a specialist, and is able to handle most dental problems efficiently and comfortably. Garry works with Dr. Schuyler Van Gorden, DDS, and between the two of them, they will be able to treat a wide variety of dental problems, from simple to complex. All dental assistants are bilingual and are eager to offer a pleasant dental experience in the new facility.
Mountain Family Health Centers operates as a nonprofit organization with the mission to provide high quality, integrated primary, behavioral, and dental health care in the communities we serve, with special consideration for the medically underserved, regardless of ability to pay.
Our providers offer patients the full range of primary health care services. Any person in need of care is welcome, regardless of ability to pay. Most private insurances are accepted, Medicaid and Medicare, and sliding scale programs and other assistance programs are available for anyone who is uninsured.
The new clinic is located at 195 W. 14th Street in Rifle, directly behind the Garfield County Public Health offices on 14th and Railroad Avenue. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (the medical clinic will be closed on Wednesdays). MFHC Traveler’s Clinic is run and staffed by Chris Tonozzi, MD. Dr. Tonozzi is a board certified family doctor who has traveled the world from the Savannah of East Africa to the jungle of Ecuador. He is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine. His experience traveling with two children makes his travel recommendations real for families. Consider the expert recommended immunizations for the country or countries you are traveling to. Most of the recommended vaccines are administered on site. Also consider whether you will be at risk for the vaccine preventable diseases. We can help you decide if you may actually NOT need an available vaccine.
