Katherine Drapeau, DO
Katherine has been practicing family medicine with Mountain Family Health Center since 2001 when she joined the staff after working on the Front Range at Mountain Medical Center. Katherine earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from the University or Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA. She then went on to intern and established her residency at the Rocky Mountain Osteopathic Hospital in Denver. Katherine has practiced at various clinics in Denver, Lakewood, Frisco and Idaho Springs and we are happy to have her practicing at Mountain Family Health Centers. When not in the office, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys in the foothills of the Front Range.
Mark Sanazaro, MD
Mark Sanazaro, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Colorado, School of Medicine and the University of New Mexico Family Practice Residency. He is board certified in family medicine and in hospice and palliative care. Dr. Sanazaro practiced family medicine in rural sites in New Mexico for fourteen years where he performed emergency medicine and obstetrics along with family medicine. Upon moving back to Colorado in 2002, he assumed the duties of Medical Director of Mountain Family Health Centers (MFHC) which has included primary care medical practice as well as administrative work. He is active in quality improvement projects at MFHC and in the implementation of patient-centered care, a national initiative to improve the practice of family medicine.
Dr. Sanazaro has special interest in geriatrics, hospice and palliative medicine, and in the management of chronic diseases. He is Medical Director of Family Hospice of Boulder and Gilpin Counties and is the Health Director for Gilpin County. Dr. Sanazaro lives in Gilpin County and is an avid backpacker and cross-country skier. He is also a runner who participates in many of the mountain races as well as running events in the Boulder area.
John Radloff, PA-C
Mountain Family Health Center is pleased to announce the addition of John Radloff, PA-C, to its team of healthcare providers. John graduated in 2003 from the Physician Assistant Program at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, with a Masters of Medical Science, with emphasis in asthma/allergy, and received the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement. John earned his BA in Biology from University of Colorado in Boulder. He worked five years at Metro Community Provider Network in Denver, a federally funded community medicine system, and was an Outward Bound Instructor and outdoor guide for many years. John is fluent in Spanish, and likes to work with diverse populations. He is married with a son, and likes to fly fish, whitewater raft, canyon hike and generally be out in nature. "I am committed to community medicine and am excited about serving the mountain community,” said John upon beginning his new position the week of July 14. Mountain Family Health Center is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to providing quality medical care for uninsured and insured patients alike, with locations in Black Hawk and Glenwood Springs, CO.
